Salmon Teriyaki

Here's a salmon teriyaki recipe, it's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. If you're looking for a quick meal this is the one for you, especially if you love fish.

Ingredients

SALMON

  • 1kg Salmon
  • Olive Oil

MARINADE

  • 8 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • Sprinkle of Salt
  • 4 Tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 Lime (Juiced)
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger (Crushed)
  • 4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
  • 1 Tsp Butter

GARNISH

  • Spring Onions
  • Lime 
  • Sesame Seeds

Directions

  1. Pre heat the oven to gas mark 7.
  2. Add 1 Tsp butter and 1 Tsp sesame oil into a frying pan, then add in ginger and garlic and fry till lightly golden.
  3. In a large bowl, add soy sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, salt and lime, then add in the cooked ginger and garlic.
  4. Place the salmon fillets into the marinade and coat evenly.
  5. Heat the pan with olive oil, once pan is hot then sear salmon fillets.
  6. Once seared, place salmon fillets into an oven tray and cover with foil.
  7. Place tray into the oven for 15 mins (gas mark 7).
  8. Baste the salmon fillets with marinade half way through.
  9. After 15 mins,  remove the foil and pour the remaining marinade over the salmon fillets.
  10. Cook for a further 2 mins.
  11. Remove from oven and serve.
  12. Enjoy!!!
