Philly Cheesesteak

Philly cheesesteak is my fave when I'm feeling up or down. I enjoy cooking and eating it. It's so simple but so delicious.

Ingredients

STEAK

  • 1.2kg Lamb Leg Steak
  • 5 Medium Onions
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tbsp of Butter

CHEESE SAUCE

  • 3/4 Can of Evaporated Milk
  • 4 Slices of American Cheese
  • 80g Mozzarella Cheese
  • Sprinkle of Salt
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

BREAD

  • 6-8 Sub Rolls

Directions

  1. Thinly slice the lamb leg steaks, onions and peppers.
  2. Add the onions and peppers into a pan with butter.
  3. Once softened add in the steak, salt, pepper and garlic powder. 
  4. Let it cook until the steak has cooked through, then take the pan off heat.
  5. In a saucepan add evaporated milk, American cheese slices, mozzarella, salt and garlic.
  6. Then, whisk on medium heat until mixture is smooth.
  7. Cut the sub roll open, fill with the cooked steak and pour the cheese sauce on top.
  8. Enjoy!!!
