Philly cheesesteak is my fave when I'm feeling up or down. I enjoy cooking and eating it. It's so simple but so delicious.
Ingredients
STEAK
- 1.2kg Lamb Leg Steak
- 5 Medium Onions
- 1 Green Pepper
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 Tbsp of Butter
CHEESE SAUCE
- 3/4 Can of Evaporated Milk
- 4 Slices of American Cheese
- 80g Mozzarella Cheese
- Sprinkle of Salt
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
BREAD
- 6-8 Sub Rolls
Directions
- Thinly slice the lamb leg steaks, onions and peppers.
- Add the onions and peppers into a pan with butter.
- Once softened add in the steak, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Let it cook until the steak has cooked through, then take the pan off heat.
- In a saucepan add evaporated milk, American cheese slices, mozzarella, salt and garlic.
- Then, whisk on medium heat until mixture is smooth.
- Cut the sub roll open, fill with the cooked steak and pour the cheese sauce on top.
- Enjoy!!!
