Here's a salmon teriyaki recipe, it's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. If you're looking for a quick meal this is the one for you, especially if you love fish.
Ingredients
SALMON
- 1kg Salmon
- Olive Oil
MARINADE
- 8 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 4 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- Sprinkle of Salt
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Lime (Juiced)
- 1 Tbsp Ginger (Crushed)
- 4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
- 1 Tsp Butter
GARNISH
- Spring Onions
- Lime
- Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Pre heat the oven to gas mark 7.
- Add 1 Tsp butter and 1 Tsp sesame oil into a frying pan, then add in ginger and garlic and fry till lightly golden.
- In a large bowl, add soy sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, salt and lime, then add in the cooked ginger and garlic.
- Place the salmon fillets into the marinade and coat evenly.
- Heat the pan with olive oil, once pan is hot then sear salmon fillets.
- Once seared, place salmon fillets into an oven tray and cover with foil.
- Place tray into the oven for 15 mins (gas mark 7).
- Baste the salmon fillets with marinade half way through.
- After 15 mins, remove the foil and pour the remaining marinade over the salmon fillets.
- Cook for a further 2 mins.
- Remove from oven and serve.
