Salt & Pepper Chips

If you fancy a change from basic chips, then this is a recipe you need to try out! They taste great and we're not just saying it, you will be thanking yourself later. So, why not make them today.

Ingredients

SALT & PEPPER MIX

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green pepper
  • 1/2 Red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
  • 3-4 Tsp Salt and pepper seasoning. (You can use 3 Tsp Chinese 5 spice and Half a Tsp Chilli Flakes)

CHIPS

  • 3 Handfuls of cooked chips (fried or air-fried)

GARNISHING

  • 3 Spring onions
  • 1 Handful coriander
  • 1 Red Chilli sliced

Directions

  1. Cut the onion and peppers into large cubes. 
  2. Soften the cubed onion and peppers in olive oil for roughly 5 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add the salt, sugar and salt & pepper seasoning to the onion and pepper mix.
  4. Mix it all together.
  5. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add in the cooked chips.
  7. Take off heat and add the garnishing.
  8. Enjoy
