If you fancy a change from basic chips, then this is a recipe you need to try out! They taste great and we're not just saying it, you will be thanking yourself later. So, why not make them today.
Ingredients
SALT & PEPPER MIX
- 1 Onion
- 1 Green pepper
- 1/2 Red pepper
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 3-4 Tsp Salt and pepper seasoning. (You can use 3 Tsp Chinese 5 spice and Half a Tsp Chilli Flakes)
CHIPS
- 3 Handfuls of cooked chips (fried or air-fried)
GARNISHING
- 3 Spring onions
- 1 Handful coriander
- 1 Red Chilli sliced
Directions
- Cut the onion and peppers into large cubes.
- Soften the cubed onion and peppers in olive oil for roughly 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the salt, sugar and salt & pepper seasoning to the onion and pepper mix.
- Mix it all together.
- Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add in the cooked chips.
- Take off heat and add the garnishing.
- Enjoy
